Sunny and Marcus live on entirely different planets. While Sunny lives on the most perfect world ever known to man, Marcus spends his time just trying not to die. But when their worlds collide, will they both have what it takes to adapt to the Perfect Chaos?
Excerpt:
One
My world vastly
differs
from yours. You live in an impoverished, disease-riddled country where men kill
each other over petty amounts of booze and pills. I, on the other hand, live in
paradise; everyone has food, no one’s been murdered in centuries, and
the common cold is ancient history. Most people don’t even remember what it is.
Where
you fought entire wars over oil, we made cars completely independent. They
drive themselves and require zero gasoline to function.
We
are so
much better off than you.
Two
Some days, I wish I
lived on your planet. But who’s to say that it even exists? Sure the rumors are
everywhere that there is a place, much, much
better than here, but really, how could we be that different?
The only thing that you
have better here is the way you live; we live in times of war, you in times of
peace. That may change. I’m not saying that it will change in the next hour, or
the next week, but it will change.
The
question is, will you be ready when it does?
